Hopewell man charged with killing housemate

A Hopewell man has been charged with murder in yesterday’s fatal stabbing of his housemate, police said. William Henry Stringfield, 39, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Lonnie Drumin, 57, who police said was fatally stabbed in the chest about 4:40 p.m. while standing near his vehicle outside his home in the 2300 block of Dellrose Drive. Hopewell students designing 21st-century desk

HOPEWELL—A group of students at Hopewell High School aims to design a cost-effective, 21st-century desk that enhances a student’s learning experience. All juveniles in Hopewell face new 11 p.m. curfew

All juveniles in Hopewell are now facing an 11 p.m. curfew. City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to require that anyone 17 or younger be accompanied by a parent—or be at home—by 11 p.m. The new curfew took effect immediately. Chesterfield A hunter was found dead early yesterday in a wooded area off River Road in Chesterfield County after he had been reported missing by his family, police said.
